ACCSC Accreditation

Fountainhead College of Technology is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

THEC Authorization

Fountainhead College of Technology is authorized by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC). This authorization is renewed each year based on an evaluation by minimum standards concerning quality of education, ethical business practices, health and safety, and fiscal responsibility. Completion and placement information for all of the college's programs may be found on the THEC website and also on Fountainhead College's website under the Placement & Tuition tab for each program.

Fountainhead College is also qualified to accept students eligible for funding by the United States Department of Education, the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Tennessee Department of Human Services Division of Rehabilitation Services.

National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance

Fountainhead College of Technology is designated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education (CAEIAE) by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This prestigious designation recognizes Fountainhead’s Network Security & Forensics bachelor’s degree program as one of the best in the nation. This program is the only cybersecurity bachelor’s degree offered by the CAEIAE in Tennessee, and Fountainhead is the only college in the state that offers all six national certifications offered by the CAEIAE. The NSA first approved Fountainhead's curriculum in 2004.
