Job Fair

Job Fair!

jobfairFountainhead College will host a Job Fair on Tuesday, June 28th from 3-7pm, in the Fountainhead Auditorium. Students should come dressed and prepared to interview with several employers. You should bring copies of your resume and a winning attitude. 

Several employers will be recruiting students from all program areas, especially graduates and 4th semester students, since most positions require a degree. Participating employers include:

  • Up Communications
  • Elavon
  • Tek Systems
  • The Shaw Group
  • Spectra Tech
  • Knoxville Pediatric Associates

Cyber Defense Team 2012

All,

We want to thank our preceding CyberDefense Teams for the determination and commitment they’ve shown in preparing for and contending in previous years’ competitions. Their efforts are very much appreciated.

As an organization we’ve made a decision to recommit ourselves to you (the potential team) and the Southeastern Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (SECCDC), and as such we will be implementing several structural and procedural changes.

Team Fusion Softball Team

Last Wednesday night, Fountainhead's softball team, Team Fusion, was once again victorious. The final score was 11-10. Our record right now is 3 wins and 2 losses. Last night's game was real close, going into the 3rd inning until we opened up a commanding lead. Then we held onto it for most of the game. We had trouble down the stretch with a few mental errors and some walks by our pitcher. But in the end we prevailed and came away with the big W.

Fountainhead launches robust, new website

Fountainhead College of Technology is pleased to announce the launch of a new website. Built in Joomla, an open source (CMS) content management system, the new site has roughly 300 "articles" or pages – and counting. The purpose of the site is to showcase Fountainhead's faculty and programs in greater depth to reach a larger audience and provide greater visibility and accessibility.

R2-D2 visit makes Morgan County News

Students at Morgan County Career and Technical Center gathered on March 29 to meet staff from Fountainhead College of Technology and were treated to a guest appearance by R2-D2, the school's unofficial mascot.

The full-size and fully-functional R2-D2, an "astromech droid" and major character in the Star Wars films, was a huge hit with students, but it is also a perfect teaching tool, according to Admissions Manager Tim Thomas.
