BC206 A+ Practical Applications

3 Semester Credit Hours

This course is designed to teach the required skills to complete the A+ certification track. The course will give students the ability to perform advanced tasks such as installation, building, repairing, configuration, and troubleshooting, optimizing, diagnosing and preventive maintenance and security. This course, along with BC205, will prepare the student to take the A+ Certification exams 220-602, 220-603, and 220-604. Labs consist of assigned practice, projects and/or case studies relating to topics covered.  Course contains 2 semester credit hours (30 clock hours) of lecture and 1 semester credit hour (30 clock hours) of laboratory work. Prerequisite: BC205
