CB306 Cisco Intermediate Networking

This course covers ethernet switch and router configuration and troubleshooting, virtual LANs and Spanning Tree Protocol, static and connected routes, Variable Length Subnet Masking (VLSM) and route summarization, IP access control lists, Routing Protocol Theory, Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) and Enhanced IGRP (EIGRP) configuration, Frame Relay Configuration, Virtual Private Networks, Network Address Translation (NAT), and IPv6. This course helps prepare students for the ICND Exam. Labs consist of assigned practice, projects and/or case studies relating to topics covered. Course contains 2 semester credit hours (30 clock hours) of lecture and 1 semester credit hour (30 clock hours) of laboratory work. Prerequisite: CB305
