CO302 Intermediate Procedure Coding

Procedure codes are standardized codes used to classify medical procedures and items. This advanced coding course focuses on procedure coding, interpretation, sequencing accuracy and more. Labs consist of assigned practice and projects relating to topics covered. Course contains 2 semester hours (30 clock hours) of lecture and 1 semester credit hour (30 clock hours) of laboratory work. Prerequisite: MC207
