The ICD Coding for Physician Offices course is designed for students who have who have successfully completed the Basic ICD Coding course. This course provides hands-on instruction and detailed exploration of the principles of the ICD-9-CM (Volumes I and II) coding. Labs consist of assigned practice and projects relating to topics covered. Prereq. – MC209. Course contains 2 semester hours (30 clock hours) of lecture and 1 semester credit hour (30 clock hours) of laboratory work.
