3 Semester Credit Hours

This course will familiarize students with the fundamentals of Visual Basic.NET. In this course you will learn good programming techniques and practices, besides learning the value of object-oriented programming and terminology. This course also teaches the importance of problem-solving skills needed to succeed in the computer programming profession. Visual Basic is Microsoft’s default language and is a key language to learn in the dynamic field of programming.  VisualBasic.NET is the latest release of this powerful and flexible language. Labs consist of assigned practice, projects and/or case studies relating to topics covered. Course contains 2 semester credit hours (30 clock hours) of lecture and 1 semester credit hour (30 clock hours) of laboratory work. Prerequisite: CP301
