3 Semester Credit Hours

This course continues where ASP.NET I left off using the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET environment and the Microsoft .NET platform to create ASP.NET Web applications.  This course covers more advanced topics such as; connecting to data sources, building data-driven ASP.NET applications, building data-driven Web applications, configuring an ASP.NET application, troubleshooting and deploying an ASP.NET application.  Newer technologies like creating XML Web services and extending ASP.NET applications are also discussed. Labs consist of assigned practice, projects and/or case studies relating to topics covered. Course contains 2 semester credit hours (30 clock hours) of lecture and 1 semester credit hour (30 clock hours) of laboratory work. Prerequisite: CP309
