EWC401 RF Engineering

This course teaches the science and engineering of mobile and wireless communication. Advanced topics include developing analytical tools, fundamental physics, and communication theory. Also cover are modern wireless communications, including propagation effects, wireless modems, cells and cell design, diversity, dispersion, fading, multiplexing techniques, 3G systems, OFDM systems and Bluetooth wireless networks. Course contains 2 semester credit hours (30 clock hours) of lecture and 1 semester credit hour (30 clock hours) of laboratory work. Prerequisites: CS301, CS302
