3 Semester Credit Hours
This course covers the evolving technology that enables voice, audio, video and internet services anywhere in the world. Issues relating to integration, compatibility, internetworking, and voice/data convergence are covered. Standards and protocols including existing cellular/PCS networks, WCDMA/UMTS, CDMA2000, and SCDMA are presented. Prereq. CS301, CS302 or equivalent. Course contains 2 semester credit hours (30 clock hours) of lecture and 1 semester credit hour (30 clock hours) of laboratory work.
