An exploration and analysis of major themes and events in the political, cultural, social, economic and intellectual history of the United States from 1950 to present day. The aftermath of World War II, the Civil Rights Movement, the Vietnam War, the first man on the moon, and the introduction of the personal computer are among course topics. Course contains 3 semester credit hours (45 clock hours) of lecture and 1 semester credit hour (30 clock hours) of laboratory work.
