HM302 Healthcare Statistics and Research

In this course, students will apply basic concepts of medical statistics for administrative, financial and departmental purposes. The course utilizes a hands-on approach to promote critical thinking skills, analysis, and an understanding of underlying data. The importance of evaluating the source of the data and how the rates are obtained is also covered. Labs consist of assigned practice and projects relating to topics covered. Course contains 2 semester hours (30 clock hours) of lecture and 1 semester credit hour (30 clock hours) of laboratory work.
