In this course, students will use technology to manage health care information. This hands-on course provides a practical understanding of data collection, software for HIM processes, data integrity and policy & procedure. Labs consist of assigned practice and projects relating to topics covered. prereq - HM303. Course contains 2 semester hours (30 clock hours) of lecture and 1 semester credit hour (30 clock hours) of laboratory work.
