MS302 Administrating Microsoft Active Directory

3 Semester Credit Hours

Students will be able to configure and manage Active Directory Directory Services (AD DS) for Windows Server in real world situations. Topics include: Creating AD DS Forest, Domains and Organizational Units, Creating and administering user, group, and computer accounts, Managing server, computer, and user environments with Group Policy as well as access to network resources through file, folder, and sharing permissions. Labs consist of assigned practice, projects and/or case studies relating to topics covered. Course contains 2 semester credit hours (30 clock hours) of lecture and 1 semester hour (30 clock hours) of laboratory work. Prerequisite: MS301
