This course builds upon RX101 and teaches specific systems/processes for a Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) and a Boiling Water Reactor (BWR). Prereq: RX101 Nuclear Power Plant I. Course contains 4 semester credit hours (60 clock hours) of lecture and 1 semester credit hour (30 clock hours) of laboratory work. This course supports the Radiological Protection Technology program by providing the student an overview of the systems, components, operational aspects, and how they affect the radiological protection responsibilities
