WS201 Website Design

3 semester credit hours

As workers in the information industry, graduates may be required to produce or troubleshoot Websites and/or provide interface to different classifications of data. HTML and XML coding are taught using text editors. Website design elements such as proper use of color, layout techniques and active element placement presented in this course will help prepare the student for these possibilities. Labs consist of assigned practice, projects, and/or case studies relating to topics covered.  Course contains 2 semester credit hours (30 clock hours) of lecture and 1 semester credit hour (30 clock hours) of laboratory work.
