Sandie HancockMs. Hancock’s major areas of specialization are in American Literature, American Women Writers, and Feminist Literary Theory. She is the Director of Marketing, Sales and Management and owner of Hancock Photography. She was formerly the editor of The Talon (Hardin Valley Academy PTSA Newsletter). Previously, she was the Director of Marketing at Eventpix.com in Beverly Hills, California, and she served as Facilitator of Barnes & Noble’s reading groups. She was the Editorial and Research Assistant for Dr. Michael Lofaro’s book, James Agee: Reconsiderations and has given numerous presentations in the literary field.

Rebecca Napier

Rebecca Napier teaches English Composition, Public Speaking and Technical Writing for Fountainhead College. She received a John Hodges teaching fellowship as a master's candidate at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her thesis explores the intersections between agency and autonomy in women post-war writers of the twentieth century. She has published and presented at academic conferences both fiction and literary theory. She has also taught at the University of Tennessee and Pellissippi State Community College.

Her experience as an online professor was gained at several private colleges where she also serves as a faculty mentor for new online professors. In 2010, she was presented with an Excellence in Teaching award from the National Institute for Staff and Faculty Development at their annual conference in Austin,TX.  

Instructor: Personal Financial Planning, History & Psychology

Gifford WalkerGifford Walker has had a colorful and diverse career in a variety of industries. Trained as an educator, he has a background as a university administrator and experience counseling groups and individuals. When counseling groups as a mental health therapist, he also has served as an expert witness in court. Counseling individuals as a financial adviser, he occasionally appeared on a TV talk show to discuss personal finances. He also has supported an international sales and distribution company, serving as Director of Import/Export, Purchasing Manager, Director of Inventory Control and Traffic Manager.
