Title: Technical Support Analyst

I would like to conclude by saying that this program has opened many doors for me and allowed me to obtain a great job as a Technical Support Analyst before I have even received my Bachelor’s degree.

Exactly one year ago I was researching different technical colleges to enter into that would allow me to work full time and continue my education for my Bachelor’s degree. I was looking into attending ITT when a former co-worker of mine, told me about Fountainhead College of Technology and their new online NSF program. I investigated the college and saw that Fountainhead College of Technology had recently opened up a Bachelors of Applied Science for Networking Security and Forensics with six CAEIAE certifications. This intrigued me because I was looking for a Bachelor’s degree in Networking.

I came to Fountainhead College of Technology in December of 2011 to take a tour of the campus with Misty Caldwell in Admissions. After a couple of hours of touring the campus and learning about the online NSF program, I had decided that this was the right program for me to continue my education. After talking with Misty Caldwell and Jay Cabler about transferring my credits from my previous college,
they had decided that it would take me one year and one semester to graduate with the NSF Bachelor’s degree. That presented a problem for me since I had set a goal for myself to receive my Bachelor’s degree in one year. With the help of Misty and Jay, I learned which classes I could take off campus closer to home while taking additional online classes at Fountainhead College of Technology.

That first semester was very hard for me, but with the help of my family and my determination, I was able to complete that first semester at Fountainhead College of Technology and the other college. I was more surprised to learn that my lowest grade for all of those classes that I had taken in the first semester was a B. After that semester I was able to start the online NSF program and now I will have completed this program in exactly one year to receive my Bachelor’s degree in Networking Security and Forensics with the six CAEIAE certifications.

Patrick Allen the NSF Instructor at Fountainhead College of Technology helped me a great deal while completing the online NSF program. Mr. Allen worked with me from day one at Fountainhead College of Technology. He has been a great instructor for this program and has made himself available anytime of the day or night for help with any problem that I have run into during my time at Fountainhead College of Technology. It is my understanding that there are four of us in this year’s online NSF program that graduate December 14, 2012, and that we are the first four to graduate with this online NSF degree. There have been some ups and downs with the four of us during this online program, but with the help of Mr. Allen and my fellow classmates, we have made it successfully through this program.

I would like to conclude by saying that this program has opened many doors for me and allowed me to obtain a great job as a Technical Support Analyst before I have even received my Bachelor’s degree. I would like to say for anyone who is considering returning to college, but works a full time job and believes that they do not have the time to complete a degree. Please consider Fountainhead College of Technology. They offer a great online program that works with your schedule. The instructors are willing to work with you in completing your assignments. I would like to say ‘thank you’ to everyone that has helped me along at Fountainhead College of Technology.

Very Grateful Alumni,

I would recommend anyone attend this school who is interested in this profession.
Enrolling and then graduating from Tennessee Institute of Electronics was definitely both a mile marker and a life changing event for me personally. I would recommend anyone attend this school who is interested in this profession.

After graduation, I was overwhelmed with job opportunities and offers.
When I entered the Network Security & Forensics program at Fountainhead College, I started a path that I had a little experience in but thought would suit my life - but I had fears about my abilities. The entire staff was extremely supportive and understanding. When I graduated, I had transformed from the guy that knew nothing, into a true IT professional that was respected by my peers.

After graduation, I was overwhelmed with job opportunities and offers. I finally chose to work with a nonprofit local to the Knoxville area. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am truly happy every day to get up and go to work. I enjoy my work, and my work truly fulfills me. My supervisor talks about me to people constantly. She talks about how wonderful I am, or how knowledgeable I am, or how I solved a VPN issue they had had for years, or that the backup solution I recommended was amazingly faster and more reliable than the last one they had.

Without the help of Fountainhead, the staff, the education, and the job preparation, I never would have had the skills necessary to enter into the IT field. I owe my entire success to the Fountainhead team and unique curriculum. Not only have they assisted me in entering this field, but also to start obtaining certifications that will further propel me into the IT leadership roles of tomorrow.
